Well, Actually, 2025

Synopsis:

‘Eva Kitt dreamed of pursuing a journalism career all her life. Instead, she's the host of Sausage Talk, interviewing B-list celebrities over lukewarm hotdogs.

When Eva's impromptu public call out of her college ex goes viral, she's thrust into the spotlight. It doesn't help that said ex is Rylie Cooper, a beloved social media personality, who built a platform on deconstructing toxic masculinity and teaching men how to be good partners.

Forced to confront Rylie on a live episode of Sausage Talk, he offers Eva a deal: allow him to take her on a series of dates to make up for his toxic behaviour, then debrief them on his channel to show he's changed. Eva refuses to play nice, but this could advance her own career... and she wouldn't mind defaming Rylie's good name in the process.

When their manufactured dates start to feel real, Eva has to wonder if the boy that broke her heart has become the man that might heal it.’

Late Bloomer, 2024

Synopsis:

‘Winning the lottery ruined Opal Devlin's life. She may have been able to leave her dead-end job, but now she's getting endlessly bombarded with people knocking at her door for a handout… and she can't seem to stop saying yes.

Opal realises she has a chance to follow her own dreams, and decides to spend almost all her new money on a failing flower farm in North Carolina where she can start her painting business.

But her plans for isolation soon go hopelessly awry when an angry (albeit gorgeous) Pepper Boden is waiting for her at her new farm. Pepper states that she's the rightful owner of Thistle and Bloom Farms, and she isn't moving out.

There's not much else they can do except strike up an agreement of co-habitation, but they're soon butting heads at every turn. While they each have a reason to stay, can these two opposites find a way to plant some roots? Or will their combustible arguing (and growing attraction) burn the whole place down?’

Tilly in Technicolor, 2023

Synopsis:

Tilly Twomley is desperate for change after her flawed executive functioning has left her burnt out. Interning for her perfect older sister's start up isn't exactly top of her list, but at least it means she gets to travel around Europe as she works out what she wants for her future.

Oliver Clark knows exactly what he wants. His autism has made forming relationships hard, but his love of colour theory and design allow him to connect with the world. Plus, he's secured the perfect internship.

But then Oliver finds himself forced to spend the summer with lively, exasperating Tilly, and they couldn't be more different. And when he starts to feel things for her he can't quite name, he wonders if maybe he doesn't have everything figured out after all.

As their connection grows, Tilly and Oliver start to learn that the best parts of life simply can't be planned.

The Plus One, 2023

Synopsis:

‘Some facts are indisputable: Gravity exists. Indira doesn't like Jude. Jude doesn't like Indira.

Indira has everything together: an amazing job, a boyfriend, a car. What more could a late twenty-something want? Well, not walking in on her boyfriend with another woman, for one thing.

Her childhood enemy, Jude, has nothing together. Having spent three years travelling the world to treat emergencies and humanitarian crises, a quick trip home for his best friend's wedding has him struggling to readjust.

Thrust into an elaborate (and ridiculously drawn out) wedding, Jude and Indira - who can't seem to escape her ex and his new girlfriend - are both soon at breaking point.

Their solution? A bargain to be each other's fake dates.
But what happens when the forced proximity and fake displays of affection start to feel a bit too… real?’

Lizzie Blake's Best Mistake, 2022

Synopsis:

‘Chaotic, messy and madly in love.

Lizzie Blake has made endless mistakes. Kitchen fires, pyramid schemes, you name it, she's done it… and made a mess of it too.

One mistake she never makes? Risking anything more serious than a one-off hook-up. But after losing yet another bakery job due to her uncontrolled ADHD, she breaks her cardinal rule and has a two-night stand.

Once burned, twice shy, Rake has given up on relationships. And feelings. And any form of intimacy for that matter. Two nights with charming, chaotic Lizzie might have him lowering his guard, but then he's heading back to Australia, far away from the surprising feelings that she seems to inspire.

But when Lizzie realises she's pregnant, Rake knows he'll do anything to be in his child's life, but emotional vulnerability is off the table. Except everyone makes mistakes, and Lizzie and Rake might have just stumbled upon the best mistake of their lives.’

A Brush with Love

Synopsis:

‘Anxiously awaiting news from the residency program of her dreams, dental student Harper Horowitz is laser focused. So crashing (quite literally) into Dan Craige is exactly the sort of dreamy distraction that she is trying to avoid.

First-year student Dan may not have the same passion for pulling teeth that Harper does, but he's instantly smitten. When Harper makes it clear that she's not interested in trading fillings for feelings anytime soon, they set out to be 'just friends' - a plan with the best of intentions and the poorest of follow-throughs.

Late nights in the dental lab (and the rather unsubtle match-making efforts of their friends), draw Dan and Harper closer. Still, Harper can't shake the worry that a romance with Dan might risk everything she's worked so hard to build.

Harper may have no trouble acing her studies, but falling in love is a whole new challenge. Nine out of ten dentists agree, A Brush with Love makes your smile brighter!*
