I’ve been using Shakti’s products for a while now, and as a big fan of the Wonderball, I was keen to give their acupressure rings a go too.
For context: I’m the type of person who finds it hard to sit still. I’m always fiddling with something, and that’s why I love the Wonderball. I can roll around between my palm and the desk while I’m working, and between two palms while I’m watching TV.
When I saw that Shakti had another handheld acupressure tool, I decided that I needed to give it a try. In this post I explain what the Shakti acupressure rings are, how they work, and whether they’re worth buying.

What Is the Shakti Torus Ring Set?
The concept is simple. Each set is made up of three individual rings, each with varying pressure levels. The rings themselves are made from coiled wire that’s been silver plated, making them slightly stretchy, but in a way that still fits tightly around the finger.
The set comes with a small cotton bag that has a magnetic clasp and a carabina attached to one side. They are easily the most portable of Shakti’s products, making them a tool that you really can use anywhere.
How Do Acupressure Rings Work?
Far from a new concept, acupressure rings have been on the market for a number of years.
The idea is that you choose a ring and roll it up and down each finger, which allows the spikes to massage acupressure points. Shakti advise that you roll their rings up and down each finger 20 times as a way to reduce tension, stimulate circulation and calm a racing mind.
Although they’re called rings, these are made for moving and not wearing, so make sure not to leave them stationary on your finger where they can disrupt circulation.
Benefits of Acupressure Rings
Boosts Circulation
The spikes encourage blood flow and are thought to improve circulation in the fingers.
Soothes Aching Fingers
Ideal for anyone who works with their hands, the spikes on these rings press against the skin to stimulate pressure points.
Calms Your Mind
Rolling an acupressure ring up and down your finger acts as a grounding mechanism and can slow racing thoughts.
Reduces Stress
Distract yourself from the stresses of day-to-day life as the spikes release tension from tired fingers.
Are the Shakti Acupressure Rings Worth it?
For me, these rings are absolutely worth it. I find them really satisfying to fiddle with while I’m working or relaxing, and they give my fingers a pleasant warm feeling afterwards. I don’t get particularly achy or painful fingers but I can definitely see how these would be beneficial for anyone needing to physically relax or soothe their hands.
Of course, acupressure rings are also available from other suppliers such as Amazon, but I like that the Shakti brand offers a 5 year warranty and, as a repeat customer, I know that their products are always good quality.
How Much Do the Torus rings Cost?
Shakti’s Torus Ring Set costs just £14/$24.00, which is a great price for a useful relaxation tool that you can use anywhere.
As the cheapest item on the Shakti website, these rings make a good starter item for anyone wanting to try acupressure. They’re also ideal for people who are looking to expand their acupressure practice, and want something more portable that they can use on the go.
I highly recommend partnering them with the Shakti Wonderball, which is my favourite product so far!
