If you suffer from seasickness, then you should stay away from cabins on higher decks that are towards the forward end of the ship. The balcony cabins are located on decks 10 and 11 on Ambience. If you have the budget then you may want to opt for a suite, which are more expensive but much larger with extra amenities. If you want to book the very best, then consider the deluxe suites which are at the back of deck 11, as they are the most luxurious on the ship.
Quietest decks
Decks 9 and 10 only have cabins, and are sandwiched between two other cabin only decks. This means they are the least likely to experience noise from bars or other entertainment venues.
Cabins to avoid on Ambience
If you want the best views, then watch out for the obstructed view cabins on deck 7 which are located next to the lifeboats. If noise is an issue for you, it’s recommended that you stay away from the central cabins on decks 5 and 6, which are close to a number of bars and entertainment venues.

One of the deck 7 obstructed view cabins could actually be great if you’re not bothered too much about the view, and want to find a good deal. They will generally be cheaper than other ocean view cabins which don’t have an obstruction.

The most luxurious cabins on Ambition are the deluxe cabins on decks 7 and 8. If you want a balcony but don’t want to opt for a suite, then choose one of the 12 non-suite balcony cabins that are at the back of decks 9 and 10.
Quietest decks
Deck 9 is likely to be the quietest, as it’s a cabin only deck with other cabins both above and below, and no entertainment venues. Decks 8 and 10 are also likely to be quiet as they are cabin only decks, but do have some entertainment venues nearby.
Cabins to avoid on Ambition
It has been reported that the cabins towards the front of Deck 7, near The Cavern, have a tendency to be noisy, with potential for the same issue at the front of deck 8. Similarly to Ambience, the ocean view cabins in the middle of deck 7 have obstructed views, which you may want to avoid if that’s a dealbreaker for you.

The inside cabins on Ambition are the best for budget travellers as they include everything you need, just without a window or porthole. Alternatively, ocean view cabins can be a good compromise if you want to be able to see outside but don’t want to book a balcony cabin or suite
