Vendula London Bag Review
I’ve been a fan of Vendula London for many years, so I was really excited to work with them again to show you some of their gorgeous new range, Bookshelf Boulevard.
I actually have an entire collection of book themed bags. I have quite a lot of them now, but my original bag, the Old Bookshop Grab Bag, is one of my all time favourites. Featuring the shopfront of a fictional bookshop, this bag has accompanied me on many adventures over the years.
Naturally, I couldn’t wait to test out a bag from their new collection.

About the Bookshop Boulevard Range
Inspired by classic book titles such as The Great Gatsby and Wuthering Heights, Bookshelf Boulevard is a stunning range designed to be ‘a book lover’s daydream brought to life’. The designs feature many recognisable stories, and if you look closely at the front of my bag, you will see spoof titles such as The Great Catsby and Wuthering Whiskers, lining a street made of books.
I love this new range, which can be purchased in a number of bag sizes and styles. If you look closely, you’ll see lots of wonderful details including cut out windows, ribbon bookmark trims and gilt edges.
I was really pleased to find that the other side of the bag had another, more simple, book themed print. This means that I can easily spin it around and have a totally different bag, which is great if I don’t feel like standing out quite as much.
With seven styles to choose from, I chose the Bookshop Boulevard Bonnie Weekender bag, as I wanted something that was larger than the bags I already had. I’ve already started taking this on trips with me and have found it’s perfect for accompanying me on my travels. It even fits my laptop!
Measurements
The Bookshelf Boulevard Bonnie Weekender bag has the following measurements:
Height: 50cm, Width: 30cm, Depth: 15cm
Materials
The bag has two grab handles and an adjustable shoulder strap which can be detached. It’s all made from vegan leather, which has been printed with extra hand stitched details in both vegan leather and cotton.
The large main compartment is secured with a zip, with one inside zipped pocket and two inside open pockets. There’s also two additional pockets on the outside of the bag which have a zip.

The Bookshelf Boulevard Bonnie Weekender bag currently costs £122.00 with free shipping in the UK and many countries around the world. Shipping costs may be charged for lower priced bags.

In addition to the bags, Vendula London sell a number of other accessories, and many of these are available in the Bookshop Boulevard style. This includes key charms, phone cases, coin purses and pods cases.
Pictured below is my pods case, which is covered in the same print as the inside of my Bonnie Weekender bag. I’ve never had a case for my AirPods before but I really like this, and have a feeling I’ll use it extensively from now on.
Who Are Vendula London?
Founded in 2003, Vendula London specialise in creating and selling funky bags and accessories that you won’t find anywhere else. Their designs are dreamt up by their in-house team and are utterly unique.
The products themselves are certainly striking and I’ve had many compliments, often from strangers, on my Vendula London bags over the years. One of the things I love is that their bags and accessories are all vegan, as I do prefer animal free products over leather when possible.
