What is the Comfrt Dreamer Blanket?
I already have a lot of blankets, but I was particularly excited to get my hands on this one from Comfrt. Not only does it come in a range of colours, but I’d heard that it was super soft, and felt it would look great in my home library.
Eventually I decided to buy the medium sized Comfrt Dreamer Blanket in Plum Rose, and I’m so pleased that I did!
Comfrt Dreamer Blanket: Key Features
Materials and Fabric Quality
The Dreamer Blanket is made from 95% Polyester and 5% Spandex/Elastane. It’s stretchy, and both sides have a velvety feel that’s super soft against the skin.
It’s definitely the cosiest blanket that I own!
Design, Colours and Overall Appearance
This blanket has a wavy design and comes in a wide range of colours, including black, white, green, blue, brown, pink, purple, yellow. There’s even tiger and leopard print varieties!
I decided to purchase the blanket in Plum Rose, which is a lovely pink/purple colour, but was very tempted by Mountain Moss and Wasabi.
The Comfrt website currently lists the Dreamer Blanket in a total of 44 colours, with new shades added to their shop regularly.
Size and Coverage
This blanket comes in a total of five sizes:
Medium: 50 x 60 inches (Around. 5 lbs.)
Large Size: 60 x 80 inches (Around. 7 lbs.)
XL Dreamer: Queen, 90 x 90 inches (Around. 11.5 lbs.)
Mega Dreamer: King, 100 x 108 inches (Around. 15 lbs.)
How Comfortable Is the Comfrt Dreamer Blanket?
This is easily the cosiest blanket that I own. It’s soft on both sides, and the medium size is large enough to completely envelop me when I’m sitting on the sofa.
It’s difficult to convey just how lovely it feels, but I know I’m going to be wrapped up in this all autumn and winter.
This blanket also has a comfortable amount of weight to it. The medium sized blanket that I purchased weighs around 5 lbs, which feels comforting without being heavy. This makes it a nice alternative to a weighted blanket.
Is the Comfrt Dreamer Blanket Good Quality?
This blanket is made from a blend of polyester and elastane, which are both man-made materials.
I often feel skeptical of fabrics that are made from polyester, which is known to be very durable, but has also faced criticism for its lack of natural fibres. It’s the mix with elastane that makes it feel so soft, and seems to be a winning combination when it comes to comfort.
Not only is the blanket durable, but it’s also stretchy and soft. It doesn’t shed like fluffy blankets sometimes do, and although I’m yet to wash it, other reviewers have found that it washes well.
I will make sure to update this post once I’ve put it through the washing machine a few times!
How Much Does the Comfrt Dreamer Blanket Cost?
The cost of the blanket depends on the size that you want to go for.
The medium sized blanket, which I bought, is the current smallest size and priced at £115.
The price then increases as the blanket increases in size:
Large: £149
XL Dreamer: £185
Mega Dreamer: £229
How to Wash and Care for the Comfrt Dreamer Blanket
This blanket is machine washable. Comfrt recommend that it is washed cold and on its own, preferably in a mesh bag if you have one.
Make sure you let it dry naturally and don’t put it in a tumble drier. Once the blanket is dry, shake it out and fluff it with your hands to restore its original texture.
The brand notes that you should not bleach, iron or dry clean your blanket.
Potential Downsides of the Dreamer Blanket
As with all things, there are a few factors that might mean this isn’t the blanket for you.
The first of these is the material, and while I love the way it feels, some people may prefer to buy textiles that are made from natural fabrics like wool or cotton. This is an understandable preference.
I love that it’s so warm and snuggly, but if you live in a warmer climate, then you may want to opt for a blanket that’s less heavy. The Dreamer Blanket is thick and very warm, which is perfect for the cold winters we experience in the UK, but might not work as well for customers based in Australia, for example.
Finally, it’s worth considering that the Dreamer Blanket does have a relatively high price point. If you’re shopping on a tight budget and can’t afford the £100+ price tag, then you may want to look elsewhere.

Final Review: Is the Comfrt Dreamer Blanket Worth It?
If you’re looking for a comfortable blanket that’s going to make you feel warm and cosy throughout the colder months, then this is the one for you.
Not only is the Dreamer Blanket super soft to touch, but it’s also very beautiful and available in more than 40 colours, so there really is something for everyone. I settled on the plum rose option and I love how vibrant the colour is in contrast to my sage green bookshelves.
This might not be the blanket for you if you’re shopping on a budget, or if you live in a warmer climate and would benefit from a more lightweight fabric. You may also wish to leave this if you prefer to buy textiles that are made from natural fibres like wool and cotton.
Comfrt sell a number of other blanket options, including their CuddleCloud Weighted Blanket, which is heavier and made from a knitted fabric. They also sell a heated blanket, called the Lavender Ember Heated Blanket, which is made from cosy faux fur and has six temperature options.
I have my eye on this one and will update my review when I get my hands on a heated blanket too.
