Crystal Symphony Suite and Guest Room Guide

(I sailed with Crystal for free part of a press trip, however, all opinions are my own)

Here is my complete guide to all of the guest rooms and suites available onboard the Crystal Symphony.

Crystal Symphony Suite and Guest Room Guide

I love exploring cruise ships, and during my sailing onboard the Crystal Symphony I was delighted to find that staff had opened a number of cabins for guests to view. While all of the room categories are beautiful in their own way, it was really interesting to see how they differ and have a nose around two of the most luxurious accommodation options onboard.

In this article you can read about the Double Guest Rooms, Aquamarine Suites and Sapphire Suites, all of which are available either with an ocean view or veranda. I will also walk you through the Crystal Junior Penthouse Suites and Crystal Penthouse Suites, both of which I’m sure will completely blow you away!

As the Crystal Symphony underwent a major renovation in 2023, you’ll notice that many of the rooms feel very modern and up to date.

Personally, I stayed in a beautiful Sapphire Veranda Suite on deck 9 (suite number 9029) and you can read my review of that particular cabin here.

Personal Butler Service

Something that sets Crystal Cruises apart from its competitors is the line’s phenomenal customer service. All of the room categories, from the Double Guest Rooms to the Crystal Penthouse Suites, have a 24 hour butler service with an evening turndown and complimentary shoeshine services.

You will meet your personal butler shortly after embarking, and they will be available to assist you within their working hours. Another butler will be able to attend to your needs while they are not working.

The butlers are responsible for things like refilling your ice bucket, replenishing the mini bar and delivering canapés (if included). They are also very friendly and happy to help however they can, so do approach them if you have any questions.

Updates from the November 2025 dry dock

The Crystal Symphony underwent a significant dry dock in November 2025, which included the renovation of the Aquamarine and Sapphire Classic suites on Deck 10.

The redesign aimed to retain the traditional style of these rooms, preserving the current layout including the bathrooms with separate showers and bathtubs. The furnishings have all been replaced, as have the carpets and wall coverings, and the overall style will match the ship’s major redesign from 2023.

I haven’t seen these redesigned rooms in person yet but they sounds fantastic.

Double Guest Room (Veranda/Ocean View)

The lowest cost option on the Crystal Symphony, the Double Guest Rooms come with or without a veranda depending on your preference, and are located on decks 5, 7, 8 and 9 of the ship. A number of single occupancy options with an ocean view are also available on deck 7.

These Double Guest Rooms were completely redesigned in 2023, and feature a living area with a sofa, walk in shower and built in wardrobe. Those rooms without a veranda instead have a large picture window offering ocean views while at sea. The bed can be configured either as one queen size bed or two twins, and this room type also has a television opposite the bed.

Room size: Up to 215 Sq ft

Balcony size: Up to 54 Sq ft

This room type is provided with a number of amenities including a bottle of welcome champagne, complimentary wine, spirits and soft drinks, fresh fruits, a pillow menu, complimentary WiFi, safe, interactive tablet for news updates and reservations, hair dryer and a hair iron (upon request).

Aquamarine Veranda Suites

Some of these suites were redesigned in the November 2025 dry dock. For up to date images, make sure you visit the Crystal Cruises website here. All of these photos were taken in August 2025 and feature rooms that were redesigned in 2017.

The Aquamarine Suites are located on decks 9 and 10, and are only available with a veranda.

Suite size: Up to 323 sq ft

Balcony size: Up to 86 sq ft

Features provided in this suite include a walk in wardrobe, television, vanity in the dressing area and sizeable living area. The bed can be configured either as one queen or two twins.

This room type has access to all of the same amenities as the Double Guest Room, with the addition of afternoon canapés, a coffee maker, binoculars, and a free pressing allowance of 5 pieces a day.

Sapphire Suite (Veranda/Ocean View)

These photos show the beautiful Sapphire Veranda Suite that I stayed in during my cruise. The room itself was fantastic, with a separate bedroom and living room, walk in wardrobe, spacious bathroom and large balcony.

This type of room comes with or without a veranda, and are located on decks 5, 7, 8, 9 and 10 of the ship. My room was renovated in 2023, and alternative rooms are available with the more traditional 2017 design or the recently updated 2025 design.

Room size: up to 430 Sq ft

Balcony size: 107 Sq ft

Junior Crystal Penthouse Suite

This beautiful suite was redesigned in 2023, and makes an amazing home away from home. A limited number of these suites are available on decks 8 and 9.

The room features a large veranda and spacious living room, a separate dining area, two TVs, separate bedroom with vanity area, either a queen size or twin beds, a jacuzzi bathtub with separate shower and bidet, as well as a walk in wardrobe.

Guests staying in one of these suites are entitled to an enhanced list of services including unlimited room service from Osteria D'Ovidio and Umi Uma, as well as unlimited dining reservations. This suite has access to free unlimited laundry and dry cleaning, in-suite cocktail parties and private transfers to and from ship up to 50 miles.

In addition to all of the amenities available in the previous room types, these suites are also provided with fresh flowers.

Suite size: Up to 645 Sq ft

Balcony size: Up to 161 Sq ft

This room category sleeps up to four people, with a third bed provided in the living room if needed.

Crystal Penthouse Suite

The largest room category available on the Crystal Symphony, the stunning Crystal Penthouse suites are offered in two designs - one from the 2023 redesign and one from 2020. There are four available in total, with two on deck 8 and two on deck 10.

The suite itself is astoundingly large and has to be one of the very best and most luxurious ways to travel at sea!

In the Crystal Penthouse Suite you will find separate living and dining areas with ocean views, two walk in wardrobes, a study and a built in bar. There’s also an incredible jacuzzi bathtub with ocean views, a separate shower, bidet, and guest bathroom.

We were docked while touring this suite so the bathroom didn’t have a lot of privacy, although it does have automatic blinds you can use for this circumstance. The bath tub must be wonderful while at sea, with amazing views of the ocean.

The suite has a high end finish featuring a large veranda with teak furniture and a spacious living room with a TV, custom wool carpets, walnut floors, cabinetry and Swarovski chandelier. The bedroom is available with queen or twin beds, and the master bathroom has crystal sconces and Calacatta marble floors.

Guests in these suites also have access to the same services and amenities as the Junior Crystal Penthouse Suites.

Suite size: Up to 909 Sq ft

Balcony size: Up to 107 Sq ft

The private veranda pictured below is the largest that we viewed on the ship, with a comfortable dining area and full size sun loungers.

As you can see, the Crystal Symphony is a phenomenal ship with rooms so comfortable that you will never want to leave!
