This is one of my favourite things to make using a latch hook. I like the Craft Club Co kits as they come with a pre-backed base, with no sewing required. All you need to do is choose a bundle of yarn and follow the pattern that’s been set out for you on the canvas.

This small, round rug is the ideal place to start your latch hooking journey. The pattern is simple and easy to follow, with impressive, aesthetically pleasing results.

If you’ve already mastered the latch hook rug, then a cushion is the ideal next step. As with the rug kits, these come with canvases that are ready to use. It also has a zipper pre-stitched so that you can use it as a cushion cover as soon as you’re finished.
Cushion inserts are available if you don’t have one at home already.
